REVIT Women's Ventura Jacket Serious equipment for the serious female rider. The REVIT Ventura Ladies jacket includes all of the important safety and practical features of a top-of-the-line adventure jacket, but with some specific features that enhance the comfort level even more. A good example is the waterproof, detachable liner, which can be easily removed and stowed away in the back pocket. Huge two-way zippers at the sleeves, and a fully removable collar that hides a big air mesh panel, allow the wind to flow in freely. Bottom line The worlds first true ladies adventure jacket. My "must have" requirements were a) a wrist closure that would accomodate *both* large gauntleted gloves and slide-under-the-jacket gloves, b) separate rain liner from the warmth liner so that I could swap out the warmth liner for my Gerbing (thick wire era) electric liner (long sleeve).
The jacket more than met my requirements and the design features are impressive (interior pockets, easy to find with a gloved hand zipper pulls, removeable cold-weather collar, good reflective areas). I'm a B-cup - I don't fill out the jacket in front. If you have a C-cup chest I don't think you will feel smashed in this jacket.
I am barely aware of the jacket when I'm riding. I'm warm with the non-electric liner down to the mid-40 degree range. Replace the warmth liner with an electric long sleeve liner and I'm good to go into the 30's. I love the wrist closures. Rev'it has designed the best touring jacket for a woman's body I have found.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Dainese Cage Leather Jacket Focus Designed for those in search of a technical article and a sports look with a careful eye on price, this leather jacket offers both elevated protection and ergonomics in the finest Dainese tradition and may be seen as an entry level model thanks to its excellent quality/price ratio. Provided with homologated protectors and back protector/Thorax chest protector pockets, excellent comfort is ensured by the adjustment of collar and side volumes, inserts in Cordura Comfort elasticated fabric, the jacket-pants fastening zip, the 3D Bubble liner and a looser fit than the jackets used more for racing. Features Removable composite protectors certified to EN 1621.1/97 Standard Cowhide leather Cordura Comfort fabric Inserts in elasticated fabric Adjustments strap on neck Waist adjustment Jacket-trousers fastening system Fixed 3D-Bubble liner air spaces Sanitized lining Pocket for Wave G1 and G2 back protector Pocket for thorax chest protector Reflective inserts 3 outer pockets 2 internal pockets Denoted as the Dainese G. Cage Pelle in Dainese's Catalog Note The video for this product incorrectly states that there is perforated leather along the arms on this jacket. In actuality, while it has a perforated look, it is not punched all the way through and will not ventilate in those areas. Primary ventilation will come through the stretch panels.

Could this be worn at the track?

I'm looking for a jacket that doesn't go overkill with racing looks, yet is capable of taking to the track with adequate protection. Does this jacket work for such a scenario? I don't want to buy a track jacket and a street jacket, I'd just like to have one that can do both well.
Yes, you could were this jacket at the track - it is leather and has protection in all the right places (assuming you wear the protection!). Do yourself a favor and take advantage of the zipper at the back of the jacket - take the jacket to a tailor and get the bottom half of the zipper sewn to the pants. Have the tailor come out to your bike so he/she can see how the zipper needs to function when you are on bike in your riding position. You'll get better protection out of both your jacket and pants if they can function as an integrated unit.

Why is this boot not considered a track boot?

I'm comparing this agains the women's Alpinestarts SMX-5, and see the differences, however do not see why this boot is not "track" acceptable.
Hi MotoQT, Looking at the specs and the construction of the boot in the video, the boot has the external features I would expect on a track worthy boot. When he opened up the boot, I did not see any of the racing type internal protection - that may be the differentiator between a track boot and a touring boot, but that is my speculation. To be sure, I suggest calling RevZilla customer service to ask why the video says the boot wasn't designed for the track.
