Sidi Cobra Rain Boots The patented and trademarked Vertebra System protects the riders Achilles tendon. Thermoplastic resin ankle protection. Bolt on (no Velcro!) replaceable, adjustable and aerodynamic nylon scuff pads on the toe. Composite inner sole. Removable arch support. Nylon shin deflector plate. Lorica outer construction. Double stitched in all high stress areas. All bolt on parts are replaceable. An elastic panel adjacent to the entry zipper allows a bind free zip and improved fit. Dual compound sole. DuPont polymer toe shift pad. Perforated Teflon treated nylon lining. Replaceable shock absorbing heel cup. Padded Achilles area. Membrane equipped to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the riders feet. Note RevZilla finds the Sidi Cobra Rain Boots to fit approximately a 1/2 size larger than the size chart indicates. When in doubt, round down.

My first boots with sliders. I get compliments on their looks compared to my old other brand rain boots. My other boots were warm and dry, but the outer tips wore out from road rash. These sliders take a hit without caring. And, if the toe sliders eventually get too worn, they are easily and cheaply replaceable. I have only had them out in light rain and snow wet roads so far, but they were 100% dry inside in those conditions. Their wide size is less wide than some other brands, but my 9EEEE foot still fits, albeit a bit snugly. Regular jeans fit over them comfortably, but can also be tucked inside. I am overall very satisfied with my Sidi Cobra Rain Boots.
Yes, I recommend this product.
