So here's what I've learned from 50 years on the planet and 30 years of motorcycling: Buy quality gear and feel the pain once (when you pay) or buy inferior stuff and feel it everytime you use it and again when you finally buy what you *should* have purchased in the first place.
Having said that, this is a really expensive helmet. I agonized over the purchase. Could it really feel that much better than my HJC? Oh yeah! Quieter, lighter, smaller profile and since I went for the hi-viz, very conspicuous in traffic. The pinlock works like a dream keeping the fog away and the sunshade is awesome, no more trying to make sunglasses work in my helmet. Build quality is amazing, shuts like the door of a Mercedes.
No regrets on this purchase.
