REV'IT Ginza Boots The REVIT Ginza Riding Shoes have a lot to offer besides their cool, casual style. Note the lace fasteners, reflective pull-up on the tab of the heel and shifter pad to protect the beautiful leather. With an anatomically shaped foot bed and mesh lining these boots offer plenty of comfort, but they dont skimp on protection, either. The toe cap and heel cup have been reinforced for added protection. It all adds up to a boot thats made equally well for walking as it is for riding. So hit the road and put it to the test yourself. Great boot! Very comfortable on and off the bike. This boot tends toward the wider footbed. I have wide feet so this works great for me. I even swapped the insoles for gel ones. I commute and travel a lot on my bike and stop very often for photographs and sightseeing. These boots are much more comfortable for walking than my full length touring boots. Protection is adequate but not great. This is to be expected from this type of boot and I am comfortable sacrificing some protection for comfort. High marks for style. I will take these boots on a 3000 mile vacation ride thru Mexico.

Rukka Airway Gore-Tex Jacket The ultimate in warm weather protection, the Rukka Airway Jacket is your Defence and Comfort in extreme heat conditions. Able to take on rain and heat while keeping you dry and cool, the Airway offers unparelled ventilation using Cordura AFT with AirPower Technology. The exterior shell provides substantial abrasion resistance, while still allowing the entire body of the jacket to function like mesh. In this manner, there are no vents on the Airway jacket as the entire jacket flows air inherently. The removable liner is made from Gore-Tex Performance Shell and is intended to also be worn as a destination liner. The main zipper on the liner uses the Gore Lockout closure to ensure a constant seal against water. Rukka's RVP Air protectors are included in the back, shoulders, and elbows. The Rukka Airway Jacket rounds out with additional features like its magnetic collar closure, soft neoprene collar, reflective detailing, as well as the two interior and two exterior pockets with generous storage capacity. Just returned from a ride from Honduras to Panama. Crossing Nicaragua and Costa Rica temperatures ranged from 90 to 102 degrees. This jacket was outstanding! It will keep you comfortable up to the lower 90's. At 100 degrees you will cook a bit, but for a textile jacket with this level of protection it performs great. I am 6 foot 220 lbs and ordered the 56R. Perfect fit and very comfortable on and off the bike. Top quality materials and very nice details. Have not tested with the Goretex liner under rain conditions. Highly reccomended.
