Multiple Connection to 3 different riders

Can 3 separate riders connect to each other concurrently. I understand rider and pillion should not have any issues but I am looking at communicating with at least 3 riders at the same time (incl. myself, ie. a to b,c, b to a,c and c to a,b)
With the most recent firmware update (3.3), you can now conference-intercom three riders together. It seems a little awkward, and I haven't tried it yet so I can't comment on how well it works. The manual has been updated to describe the process. It sounds like A initiates an intercom call to B, then C has to intercom to A or B and he is conferenced in. I would prefer a default conference option, where all three riders would be included automatically when an intercom is open. But I can see where this wouldn't work in a four-rider set-up, so maybe it's best this way. Also, it disconnects all three riders' cell-phone connections during the conference, reconnecting automatically after the intercom closes.

Note that it may be awhile before the units shipped from RevZilla have 3.3 installed, so you will probably have to update the firmware through the Sena website.

Any problems with Verizon iPhone 4?

I have the last version of smh10 and the music playback is way too soft. Can barely here it over 25 mph. Just plain awful. Tried multiple Verizon iPhones on a few different smh10 headsets. I even bought the new version to see if that made a difference without success? Is there a remedy? Anyone else have this issue?

Sound on 2 way, rider to rider is perfect.
I use my ATT iPhone 4S as my mp3 player through an SMH10 in a full-face Arai. The volume is excellent for both phone and music functions. When I first paired the phone, for some reason the mic on the SMH10 didn't function. The phone was still using its internal microphone. I ended up resetting the SMH10 and clearing the pairing from the phone, then starting over. Now all works perfectly. Not your problem, I know, but you might want to try resetting both devices. Also, the music output volume on the iPhone seems to be independent of phone volume output. So make sure that the volume on the phone is set to max during music playback. I'm sure you've already grid these things, but those are my thoughts.

What's the difference between the SMH-10 and SMH-5 Dual pack systems?

Range and small design differences. The -5 seems to have no input jack for non-bluetooth mp3 players or radar detectors. It looks from the photos like the clamp unit in the -5 doesn't incorporate the mic/speaker wires, as is seen in the -10. -5's and -10's can talk to each other, though.

what is the difference between this and the Sena Smh-10 other than teh blue tooh difference?

Per the Sena website forums, the main difference seems to be range. All of Sena's products will talk to each other, so you can mix SMH10's and 5's, with an SPH10 in a support car, for example. I don't know if the -5 is detachable from the helmet base like the 10 is, but that should be answered by the time the product ships.
