REV'IT! Axis Pants The REV'IT! AXIS was purpose-built to meet and exceed the needs of the daily commuter. You had a laundry list of requirements, and we listened. REVIT AXIS is a 100 waterproof, wide-fitting overpant, which can be donned quickly over jeans without the need to remove your boots, thanks to a 2-way side zipper. The outer shell is constructed of a strong polyester fabric with CE-approved armor at the knees, which can be adjusted in height on the inside. AXIS is simple, strong, practical, and durable. These overpants are great. However they run very small. They are not sized to be overpants. I typically wear a large in motorcycle pants, but with these had to go to a XXXL to get them to fit comfortably over shorts/pants. Other than the poor sizing info these pants are an amazing value for the money. They are very easy to get on and off with shoes or boots on which is a huge plus!

Product is exactly as described. Except the belt clip is an actual clip not a loop which is better so you can just clip it to a belt or pants and not have to loop a belt through it. Awesome product, must have for any gerbing gear!

Are these pants appropriate to wear over shorts in the summer time?
Will they provide adequate abrasion protection if only wearing shorts underneath? Most of my riding is commuting....some highway riding.. max speed 60-65! Thank you!!!! :-)
I do the same type of riding, and while I haven't wrecked in them the material looks very heavy duty. I plan to commute to work in shorts with these over them.
