I have an AGV-AX8 3XL (yes, they are one of the few that have that size) for full price and have LOVED it! Once I saw that they were on sale I upgraded my GF to one. She has loved every aspect of the DS helmet upgrade from the sport bike helmets. She even says she can hear me better, yet it is more quiet. Anyone who is on the fence or has ever given a thought to this style of helmet should get one. I am 100% satisfied and will get another.

What extra visor accessories are available with this helmet?
Are there any dark smoke or tinted visors available?
I do believe there are, but am not sure who carries them, I would direct this to the Revzilla customer support, or directly to AGV.

You would have to check the size charts for each brand, I do believe Nolan is a bit smaller (I think). Also most places have a great return policy, you can order a size, try it on, if it doesn't fit right, put it right back in the box and send it back for a smaller/larger size. About the chin thing, I HATED sport bike helmets for this reason. They would always touch my chin. This helmet is nice and long, it does get close, but does not require my chin to touch it constantly.

Hi, recently i bought agv ax-8 ds from here and its L in size. The problem is, its a little big for me and whenever i travel at high speed, the helmet feels like flying off. I like my helmet with the peak on so does changing the cheek pads helps make the helmet a little tighter by anyways? If lets say i change the cheek pad to a size M or SM, will

AGV AX-8 DS Helmet
I own a MX style helmet for riding my ATV, but unfortunately I have to wear glasses under my goggles, which I'm sure you can see the hassle in that. I have to put the helmet on, put on my glasses, then put on my goggles. I was wondering if the AGV AX-8 DS will solve my problems??? Will this helmet keep the dust out when I'm riding my ATV so I don't have to wear goggles anymore or will the dust build up on the inner part of the visor?
I have ridden with this helmet off-road and yes, it will eventually build up over time, and you MUST clean with soapy water. IMHO that is why MX helmets are the way they are. The are designed that way. I would recommend getting better goggles, or getting LASIK as that is just the way it will always be with helmets (I wear glasses too...)

Are tools needed to change the visor?
Either way how hard is it to change between tinted and clear visors?
You could use a key or a penny, it's just one screw on each side. I do not change out between visors, but do regularly clean mine. ALWAYS use ONLY soapy water to clean and the defog layer will stay in tact giving you incredible optical clarity. I often fog my glasses far quicker than I fog the helmet lens.
