These gloves are nice. When the heat is turned on they are very warm. When the temp is in the low to mid 20s, they can stay on all the time. When in the 30s and warmer, you will need to turn them on and off as needed. I did not want to spend the extra on the thermostat. I put a switch on the handle bar. Cannot really comment on durability, I only have them a short time. But they seem really well made. In my opinion they fit a bit small. I normally were a size Large, but I bought an XL and they fit like they were made for me. Very comfortable. They seem good for wind protection.
