Altough it seems like a full face helmet, actually its an open face helmet with a plastic attachment as chin bar. In the inside of the plastic chin bar it has a label "Not design to withstand a crash" !! Than why bother to add the chin bar? Just for looks? Apart from that the feel of the liners is nice, but the materials for the brackets looks good but feels cheap. It's nice that it includes the dark visor but it seems after some changes the mechanism will break. Something interesting is that the wind noise reducer is sewed on to the breath diffuser. So if you are in hot weather you must unstitch it. Nevertheless I still believe its worth the hundred bucks.

Is the chin guard on the Fly Tourist fuctional for protection or just for decoration?
Just for decoration, in the inside of the chin bar it has a label that states its not design to withstand an impact
