Chose the Sportec M5 over the OEM that came on the Bonneville (ME Z4). After 30,000 miles on the bike, I was getting abnormal wear on the Z4s, though mileage was 10-15,000. The M5 was $30 less at Revzilla and a higher speed rating. Only a few hundred miles on the M5 and the tire feels great; but will have to rate these later on after more miles.

Nice features, quality materials. Like other mid rise socks, they slide down to my ankles under my boots. They are very thin but seem strong. Will be very cool in the summer. Would like if they were a little taller, somewhere between knee highs and where these land.

Dainese New Drake Air Textile Pants Drake pants will surely interest anyone who loves to ride his or her bike especially in the warmer months without wearing a suit or leather pants in order to obtain the protection required. These previously contrasting needs have now been perfectly reconciled by Drake fabric pants. Ample air vents in fretted fabric with closing on the thighs permit fresh air to enter during riding for cooling relief on even the hottest days. When temperatures begin to drop, the air vents can be closed. Safety is guaranteed by removable composite protections in the knee and shins, while extra-strength Cordura 750 fabric offers protection in case of fall. The elastic inserts in the knee optimise the wearability of the article, which is equally suited to metropolitan motorcycle use. Features Removable composite protectors. Cordura fabric 750. Suretta fabric. Perforated fabric. Insert in elasticated fabric. Soft inserts. Calf zip. Jacket-trousers fastening system. Adjustable waist. Sanityzed lining.

Been needing pants with top protection that aren't baggy. I like my Fly butanes, but They're mostly for cold and rain. Dainese really hit the mark with the New Drake Air. I like the adjustable air inlets and snug feel. Also very good looking. I've owned for 2 weeks. with temps upper 60's to mid 80's. Very comfortable. They stay put and fit well over my Sidi Fusion boots. The knee armor slightly overlaps the boot top but is a good fit. I haven't worn them tucked in, but tried the fit, and seems good even with the overlap. Easy to clean after a long ride. I used a damp cloth with couple drops of mild soap, wiped down then rinsed cloth and wiped again. Dries quickly. Buy these pants! You'll soon forget how much you spent. Well ...

Bought this for my Dainese Air and I was especially pleased that the protector fits all my other jackets except Alpinestars 7-10. I only need 2 back protectors to cover all 7 of my jackets. Other brands are Shift Avenger and Storm, Frank Thomas XTi and all 3 Triumph jackets (leather and textile).

Easy to install and remove, though shield replacement can be challenging. Using Arai Signet Q helmet, lens will not fog, though your sunglasses may. I'm using yellow lens (looks amber) and is good for most conditions.

Have worn a dozen or more times under my Sidi Fusion Rain boots, between 38 - 65 F. and has felt great. Thin enough to be very comfortable but also quite warm even in colder temps. Have noticed a few short, loose threads after several washings in warm water and medium dryer. Quality fit and quality materials. My similar Fox socks have excessive loose threads, as a comparison.

My other back protector fit all but my Alpinestars jacket, so had to purchase A/S product. For the price it is excellent. Fits well, very comfortable and seems to allow decent airflow. Light weight and feels strong. Makes me feel safe.

Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time. This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape. Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side) Long Oval Fit SAI MAX-Vision Brow Vent shield Clear Pin Lock Max-Vision Brow Vent pinlock lense included. Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back Long-Oval shape helps prevent Hot-Spot Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner Removable, replaceable, washable interior Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components Arai Signet Q Racer graphic has the New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

Awesome, gorgeous helmet. Nice graphics. I went from an XL Shoei to L S-Q. Took care of forehead pressure spot, though a bit snug overall. Feels better than XL to accommodate longer forehead. My head length measures abt 1/2 inch or more longer than width. this might give you a sense of the proportions. My nose barely touches tip of nose guard, but feels better. The window is well centered for eye level. Removed the 5 mm peel offs from both temple end cheeks. This was an improvement. Airflow unknown since it's winter, but the few times I used the vents they seemed to flow air nicely.

Signet Q fitment question vs a Shoei

I have been wearing Shoei large size helmets for the last few years. The Multitec feels too big and the standard full face Large Shoei feels just right. What size Signet would fit? Large or Meduim?
I was wearing XL Shoei and had excessive forehead pressure. Sides had room, though. Based on Arai helmet sizing, my size was on upper end of Large, but not quite XL. I ordered Signet Q in Large. It felt snug but more comfortable than the Shoei. (The difference between long oval and round oval.) I am pleased with the Large size Signet, though I ended up removing the 5mm peel offs from temple and sides. I suggest going down a size IF your sizing is between one size and another. I measured my head per Arai instructions several times. Do not order until you have done this.
