Installation was pretty easy. Only negative was that I installed these in 2 different helmets and used the Velcro pillow extensions in both installations. After sitting for a few days, the speakers were dangling by their wires as the Velcro that had been attached to the speakers was now only attached to the pillows. I removed the pillows, reattached the Velcro to the speakers and installed without the pillows. Don't ask me why, but they've stayed attached ever since. Sound quality is great. When receiving a call at 70 mph on a naked bike, the caller has no idea I'm on a bike the sound quality is so good. We've found that it is pretty much line of sight. Starts to get "scratchy" if you get too far away from each other or loose line of sight. For our riding habits, it works great. With my Held Sambia gloves, I can feel the buttons-not so with my winter gloves. Battery life seems quite good. I did about 10 hours of riding over 4 days and almost 3 weeks later the battery is still indicating "high". Now I wasn't talking constantly, but there were a lot of phone calls. It has made our riding safer-my wife doesn't have to be clairvoyant anymore in predicting when I'll change the route, and more fun. Would definitely buy again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I measure 9.25 and ordered size 10. For reference, my middle finger measures 3.75 inches from valley to tip. The gloves were very snug going on the first time, but once on were comfortable. Finger length for me is dead on. If I were going to wish for anything, it would be a bit more depth between the thumb and index finger, but that's nit picking. I've got about 140 miles on them at this point, and they are the correct size for me.
The protection looks to be substantial. While I'd like to think I won't test the protection, they are replacing a pair of 25 or 30 year old OSI's that finally tore when I went down avoiding a snake in a water crossing last month, so odds are, they will get tested. I'm confident they will do a good job if called upon. I would definitely buy again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Riding last winter with the RX-Q, I had a lot of fogging issues. While it was easily mitigated with the front vent, who really wants to open it at 30 some odd degrees?
I have read that other people had issues with the pins. I just straighened out he visor, as shown in the video, and popped it in place. Very simple and took but a couple of seconds to install it.
It does take a little bit to get used to as it gives the impression of being cracked open on the bottom when all you are seeing is a small area that is not covered by the insert.
No fogging issues with this visor. Now, if it would only keep my glasses from fogging lol!
Yes, I recommend this product.

First, as with almost all Revzilla purchases, it arrived 2 days after ordering.
I am 6'2" tall with and wear 34 x 34 pants. I ordered the Medium/Tall. While I wouldn't mind a touch more length, the waist size is good, especially with the pull straps on the side.
I have been using them as over pants and have not ridden with the 2 interior linings, only the outer shell. Been out in mid to high 30's and been very comfortable with just jeans under them. Had the rides been extended, I would have opted to either throw long underwear on under the jeans, or use long underwear and no jeans and utilize all of the linings. The thermal lining certainly looks warm. With only the outer shell, they are easy enough to put on that I put them on 95% of the time that I ride. My boots are not very tall though, so I don't know if you would have to put on, say, mx style boots, after you put on the pants or not.
I have not yet ridden them without the outer shell, but it looks like ventilation should be good. I'll know that in another couple of months, and try to remember to update.
As to protection, in my looking at gear, there may be pants with more protection, but these pants, seem to fit what I was looking for-a single pair of pants that would give me some protection, and that I could use year round in a variety of conditions, and not break the bank. Only time will tell, but I am very pleased with them at this point.
I also have the Sonora jacket from Tour Master, and these pants, just like the jacket, required about 10 minutes of cutting off loose threads before using. I don't know why they don't clean them up before shipping, but I've not had any thread issues after the "clean up", and the jacket has seen a lot of usage. Pants came with a nice hanger and loops in the pants to hang them up.
A lot of versatility with these pants!
Yes, I recommend this product.

For me, the stock KLR seat (2009) was a constant pain in the ...., quite literally. After installing this seat, I did an afternoons riding around, and it wasn't until we were almost back to the house that I realized I had not even given a thought to my backside.
I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam and went with the stock height seat.
As to durability, I've only put about 300 miles on it, but see no reason to this point to suspect any durability issues going forward.
Easily one of two upgrades I've made to my KLR that I would consider my best upgrades for rider comfort, the other being my windscreen.
Bang for the buck, I've seen this item for slightly less money.
Only other comment is that I've purchased several other items from Revzilla, and this is the only item ordered that took longer than 2 days. I believe I ordered it on a Friday, and recieved it the following Friday. Not a big deal, but it was different.
This seat has made life on the bike a lot more enjoyable, which is what it should be!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I received the jacket 2 days after ordering. It was packaged well and included a strong hangar which is needed for this jacket as it has some heft to it. When pulling the jacket out of the plastic bag for the first time, I did have a half dozen or so "dangling" threads that needed to be cut off. I don't see any sign of anything coming apart though at this point.
I have around 500 miles (on a KLR 650) in this jacket, and all of that riding has been in the range of upper 30's to lower 50's, so I've only ridden with all liners installed. I've only been in light rain, so I've not really pushed the dryness factor yet.
When leaving the house in the upper 30's, I wore long underwear and a shirt and sweatshirt under it. in the mid to low 40's, a tee shirt and flannel shirt, and in the upper 40's to low 50's, just a tee shirt. I was comfortable in all conditions, and speeds run would include some 70 mph highway sections as well as lot of 55 mph miles.
The jacket is comfortable, and I feel like I have good mobility on the bike. It's a bit longer in the body than my brother in law's Intake Air, but the length does not bunch up at all when all the bike. It's loaded with pockets regardless of configuration. I keep my cell and my ipod in 2 interior velcro pockets. A great feature are 2 center chest pockets accessed from the outside. There are 3 position snaps (2 of them) to help lock down the elbow armor, and a velcro strap to close the cuff. I did remove all the layers of the jacket, and each is very well marked for installation by color coded snaps and loops. You do need to take your time with some of the smaller interior zippers to make sure you don't get material caught in the zipper. Ask me how I know lol. No harm was done however.
Sizing can be problem with layered jackets for the fit to good in all layered configurations. I am about 6' 2" tall and weigh 190-195. I wear a 44L sport coat, and my Gibson & Barnes A2 is a 46L (slightly big on me). I ordered this jacket in a Large Tall. It's fit on me is a slightly big. I make sure to snap the elbow armor snaps as tight as possible to hold it where it needs to be. I have a feeling that the medium tall would have been too tight across the shoulders in full liner configuration, but if I were to do it again, I would try it on just to see.
I have not run without liners, although, I see no reason that air flow won't be as good as my brother in law's Intake Air which is good. Where I live, winter is our weakest season, and our summers are hot and humid. I'm hoping to use this jacket as a 3 season plus whatever winter riding is available.
I would definitely buy it again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I recieved this helmet 2 days after ordering it.
I've got almost 800 miles with this helmet, and am very happy with it. It's very comfortable, and has many ventilation options. A quick opening of the chin vent will quickly clear any fogging. I will order the pinlock shield and insert as a better solution to fogging, as this time of year, that air can be a bit chilly.
The helmet feels very well balanced, even when looking to the sides while moving. There is no grabbing of the helmet by the wind at all. For reference, I'm using it on a KLR 650.
It is quieter than the HJC I was borrowing while waiting for this to arrive. When I first put it on, I thought that the cheek pads might have to be narrowed up which is easy to do by either ordering narrower ones, or peeling off 5 mm of pad off of each side. I ended up leaving it alone, and now doubt that I will modify it as it's very comfortable.
The helmet disassembles easily, and visor changes are a snap.
For those coming from auto racing helmets, I've been using an Arai GP-5 for the last 10 years, and the shell shape appears to be the same. I ordered the same size.
I would not ordinarily have ordered a pre-painted helm, but the clearance price on this helm was exceptional, and the design is acceptable. Paint finish quality is high.
I would buy it again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Weight 1597 grams (3 lbs. 8-1/4 oz) Meets or exceeds SNELL M2010 and DOT specifications NOTES The Pearl Black color listed for this product has a very subtle metallic flake whereas the Diamond Black color has a more pronounced metallic. Also, helmet does not ship with the Pinlock face shield as shown. Pinlock face shield available as an accessory.

Can I purchase the RX-Q with the thinner cheek pads or do I have to buy the helmet with the thicker ones and purchase the thinner ones seperate?

To directly answer your question, I don't know. I know they can be ordered as an accessory.

Mine came with the standard cheek pads. However, the stock pads are easily made thinner by removing different thicknesses of foam from them. The cheed pads are made so that this is an easy adjustment. The first thing I did was disassemble the helmet. I believe the first section of foam that can be removed is 5 mm thick.

For what it's worth, I initially thought my pads might be too tight. I left them as delivered. Don't know if I just got use to them or what, but almost 2000 miles later, they are still stock.

Great helmet, but I will be buying pinlock shield with insert to handle fogging in this cold weather riding.

 Arai Corsair V Randy Helmet
Arai Corsair V Randy Helmet
Arai Corsair V Randy Helmet The Corsair is Arais flagship model. An Arai helmet is not the product of compromise, of a profit point, or a board of directors. An Arai helmet is the product of obsession, an ongoing obsession to design and build the best helmets possible. This year Arai took the Corsair V Replica helmets to a new level. With several new features, youll see why the worlds best wear the Arai Corsair V Helmet. Features Arais exclusive, adjustable new AirWing is designed to greatly reduce drag, turbulence and buffeting resulting in more comfort and additional top-speed. The new wider eyeport required a new, wider faceshield. Called the Series I faceshield, it is exclusive to the Corsair-V. The new shield fits even more flush against the shell than the previous Corsairs. Newly equipped with Air In Stabilizer, an additional air intake between the front and rear intake in the diffuser and large toggles. The Air-In ports help accelerate air out the back, increasing airflow without increasing the size of the holes in the shell. The biggest difference between the newest generation of Arais Hyper-Ridge feature and its predecessors sticks right out at you Whereas the previous ridge curved in, this one flares out. This results in a larger opening at the helmets bottom, making the helmet easier to get on and off. Both cheek pads and the neck roll can be removed in seconds thanks to the advanced Emergency Release System. Rescue and medical workers can easily remove the newly designed removable neck roll and the cheek pads by just pulling the pad release tabs. This offers extra room within the helmet, making removal of the helmet much easier and minimizing the risk of additional injury. The Corsair-Vs neckroll is now removable and replaceable, and adds an additional exhaust vent through its bottom via shallow channels in the EPS liner, adding yet another ventilation outlet for the removal of interior air.
