I've got this glove as a replacement for a brand-new pair of Alpinestars SP-1's, and could not be happier. I have large hands and rather long fingers, and this is by far the best fitting glove I've ever worn in my life. I took a L in AGV, my SP1's were XXL and still too tight, and the Teknic's were XL. Perfect.
The kangaroo-hide palm leather is brilliant, providing good feel of all controls, and great grip. These are exceptionally well-built gloves. Almost everything that bears any load or tension is double-stitched, and they are 100% leather. The interior is lined with a fine cloth, so if your hands get sweaty (likely on a hot day, ventilation is this glove's biggest weakness), they are still not hard to remove.
They also come with hard plastic palm sliders, a feature I sorely missed on my previous gloves. They also have double-layer leather on the outer palm for slides. There are no finger-bridges (patented by Alpinestars, I believe), so finger roll may be an issue, but everything feels very well held together. I have not pranged yet, but given the build quality and level of protection, I'd feel pretty confident.
The only annoyance is the time it takes to get these things on and off, as they feature the 3-way strap of racing ganutlets. One across the wrist underneath, and two that strap onto the wristguard, but it all adds to the thickness of the protection.
5 star material, love them!

I tried on the GP-Pro jacket to get a size locally before ordering, and the fit was perfect. If you are long in the arms like me, (6'2", huge armspan), size 52 euro is perfect. A great fit from day 1, it's only gotten comfier.
As for the build, this is my 1st leather jacket and I'm extremely impressed. Everything seems very well made, aside from the odd tiny loose end, easily trimmed. The shoulder and forearm armour is great, but difinitely invest in the chest and back armour as well. The foam sheets it comes with in the insert pockets couldn't stop a nerf dart, in fact the label inside advises you to upgrade. I grabbed the medium bionic chest and back protectors, which fitted in nicely outside of the foam (extra padding, won't regret that in a crash eh?).
Visually, this jacket is the bomb. I got the red, white and black, and it turns a lot of heads. I never get tired of putting it on :)
I have yet to crash, so I can't vouch for the overall safety, but judging from the build quality, it feels extremely tough.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase, but definitely grab the extra armour. While you'll keep your tan in this thing if you crash, I'm sure your ribs and spine will thank you should the worst happen!

Is this back protector to be used with or without the factory perforated foam piece?
I just put mine in outside the foam i.e. foam closer to my back, for a bit of added comfort and protection. It still fits snugly, and bulks the jacket out a bit too. I doubt leaving the foam in or out will make much difference if you prang
