This Dainese boot will give you everything your expect from a top-end track boot and then some. It connects perfectly with my Dainese suit and I would expect it would work well with any other suit that can be worn over a boot.
This boot is slim enough to be worn under fitted jeans with no problem, and make a great companion to my work commute. I have a narrow foot and this boot fits great without any gapping or ripples. They are not made for walking, so if you are doing a casual day ride with some strolling involved, I recommend wearing a touring boot instead. Otherwise, this boot is my all-time favorite under any conditions: firm support with confident protection no matter on road or track.

The A-Stars Bio Back Protector is a great piece of hardware for the price. This insert does run a little big for smaller pockets on some jackets. I bought this to go in my girlfriend's jacket and I might have to make some adjustments for proper fitment. (This was not put into an A-Stars jacket, so I'm not sure if there would be a problem with the OEM fitment.) The material is flexible but firm, and seems to have a good bit of ventilation integrated. I would also note that the armor is pretty thin compared to my race protector, but I would feel confident that I'm not sacrificing my girl's safety by using it. I think it will add to the comfort of a smaller female rider- no bulky hardware to impede movement. It's a well-designed evolution to some of their earlier protectors. I can see the amount of R&D evolution in comparison to the earlier model RC Protector.
