I bought these Alpinestars to replace my 7 year old Alpinestar waterproof boots. I went with Gortex this time because I needed something really waterproof and I went with Alpinestars because they fit right. These boots breathe really well and fit my wide size 12 foot perfectly. I rode with these in the snow and rain for 2 hours and my feet stayed dry. Could be warmer but as it stands I can at least use these in the hot summer months without suffering too much. Overall these are great boots.

Easy to use. Buttons a bit difficult to get to with gloves. Sound is ok but it is plenty loud. Works great paired to an iphone complete with voice commands. I use this system everyday. No more missed phone calls.

I usually wear an XL glove but the large fit me slightly big. I have them connected directly to the battery and they get warm enough to keep my hands from hurting in 30 degree weather but I am worried that they may not be warm enough if it gets any colder. Maybe its just my gloves that do not work so well but after about a week I lost heat in 3 of the fingers on my left hand. The heat seemed to come back this week but they feel just barely warm. They do manage to keep me comfy in 30-40 degree 1 hour riding but I am scared that the left may fail again. Great investment if they hold up.

It was time to replace my trusty Arai RX7. This helmet has served me well but it was over 5 years old and it was time for something different. I have never owned a modular and decided to try one out. After some internet research, the general consensus was that the best modular on the market was the Schuberth C3. So I ordered one in the same size as my XXL Arai. When it arrived the fit was snug but true. On the road it was noticeably quieter than my Aria and I actually felt air flowing through the front vent when I opened it. So far I feel that this is a great investment. There are only a few issues. The Pinlock system worked great for a little while but after about 1 hour of riding in 45 degree rainy weather it started to fog up on me. I made sure the silicon seal was pressed in but it still fogs up a little. Not a real big deal but I had to open the visor often to clear it up. The only other thing that really bothers me is that I cannot seem to close the helmet from its flipped-up position with only one hand. It takes one hand to swing the front section down and the other to hold the back of the helmet. I've been trying to close it with one hand when leaving a stop light but cannot seem to get the system to latch. I have to brace the helmet with one hand and close front with the other. Other than these two minor issues it is a very light, quiet, and functional helmet. So far I am pretty happy with this helmet.

Can I listen to music from my iPhone by bluetooth, or do I need the USB interface?
I was able to connect my iPhone 4 via bluetooth, and I can answer calls, but I don't know how to listen to my iPod function at my iPhone. Is it possible to do by bluetooth? Or do I need the USB cable?
After the phone is paired just push the phone button wait for the second beep and say "Play Music" and your music will start streaming through bluetooth.

What size Schuberth should one go with if they are in between sizes on the chart? ie my head is 24.25 in the XL cutoff is 24 the xxl starts at 24.4
