After today, I can say I've put this jacket through its tests. I've been riding in 100 degree Texas heat in the black version of this jacket and as long as I'm not at a standstill for too long, it's been very comfortable. This is my first armoured jacket, so it was a bit awkward and took a little getting used to, but I've found that it "broke in" well and I feel more comfortable in it now. I also love the added confidence and feeling of protection while riding.
Today and last night I employed the rain liner and rode through torrential downpours. I'm happy to report that my torso stayed completely dry, and this jacket works well for all its intended purposes... Overall protection, summer comfort, and rain coverage.

I've got nothing but good things to say about this helmet. It's light, comfortable, and fit perfectly, after a short break in. I ordered the white and red and thought that the un-symmetrical design would bother me, as it did others... But after riding with it it's the last thing I ever think about. In fact I get complements on it all the time, which was somewhat expected. With all the vents open, the helmet keeps my head comfortable, even on long rides in the Texas heat. I ordered the smoke-colored shield and it's the only one I use... So far, no fog/condensation, even on cool mornings and nights, and employing the chin skirt.
I'd definitely buy another Scorpion Exo helmet or two: One for my girlfriend, and a different color for myself.

Is the Breath Deflector removable like on the exo 700?
I am having trouble trying to remove the breath deflector.
The breath deflector is removable, though it takes some effort to pop out the little tabs. Start in the center.
I keep mine attached... It's out of the way, I like the way it looks and haven't had any fogging issues so far, so it's staying!
