This helmet is extremely loud with all of the "scoops" sticking off the top of the helmet. And what do you get for all of that noise? Nothing but ringing ears. The ventilation in the helmet is one of the worst I have owned. There are several reviews on the internet that say you have to dig out part of the EPS (Styrofoam) to get it to flow any air. I should not have to go poking out parts of the helmet's protective layer because quality control and design is poor. Also, the liner blocks the top front 2 vents. You can cut it to try to help, but once again, you are destroying your helmet to make it do what it should have done in the first place. After doing all of this, ventilation is still far below average, especially with all of the wind noise you have to put up with. And of course you don't know any of this until you take it for a ride, then you are stuck with it since you can't return it after you wear it on the bike.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I had a pair of these on my VTX 1300 and they are so faded that I am embarrassed to use them any more. They started fading soon after I got them and went downhill fast. I did not leave them in the sunlight for long periods of time since they are only clipped onto they bike and would be easy to carry off by somebody. They are now a grey/purple color in most places with a darker patch here and there. Nelson Riggs reply when I contacted them about their "Lifetime" warranty - spray paint them with a fabric spray. They are inexpensive bags with tons of room, but don't expect them to be black for long.
