Kind of crazy that ZERO back protection comes with the Dainese airframe jacket. This offers a lower cost alternative to Dainese, and is more flexible.
It does add a noticeable amount of weight, and while designed to allow air flow it still impacts the flow in the back of the jacket.
Still, the whole reason I put up with wearing a jacket in Texas heat is for the safety, and I believe this adds significantly to the overall safety of the jacket.
I had to wait a long time for it to come back in stock, and even then Revizilla's auto-notify never let me know it was available. But overall Rev-z is great and my sole source for gear.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I had a friend bring back an original Schuberth Concept from Germany for me years ago. That was a good move and an excellent helmet. Now available in the U.S. (though at a higher cost than overseas), Schuberth is the helmet to beat, at least in modulars.
I bought a Nolan modular a year ago, and despite reviews saying it was quiet, I absolutely HAD to wear ear plugs with that helmet EVERY time I road. A 2 mile ride would leave my ears ringing.
Just recently caught the Schuberth on sale at Revzilla, and sold my Nolan to get the Concept 3. WORLD of difference. The air flow is very good going straight up the inside of the face shield and noticeably cooling forehead and brow, without drying out my contact lenses. Air exits out the bottom rear (neck) not out the top of helmet. This works great in Texas heat when worn with a wicking neckerchief. You can feel it cooling down your back.
The C#3 also lives up to reputation for minimizing "lift". Riding both an unfaired Monster, and a marginally faired 1098s both felt much like my well faired BMW. You can turn your head and no buffeting!
Overall quality down to locking mechanism, interior components, and sun visor/clear visor with solid hold-in-place detents for "city riding" and full open make this not inexpensive, but still good value for $$ spent.
Yes, I recommend this product.
