Traction superb. Even rode this one through snow last week here in the Canadian Rockies and made it home safely. Hoping for long tread life which is usually the case with these front tires. Put 7000 km on it sofar. Tread pattern entirely different from Anakee 2 which should greatly assist in reducing the dreaded front tire 'cupping' in the long run.
