Bought these pants to wear over my work clothes for the daily commute. The 3/4 length zipper (it starts 6 inches down from the hip) allows easy on / easy off. I'm 5'9", 160 and they fit pretty comfortably over my jeans / carharts without the liner installed. Think they would be pretty tight w/ the liner in. My only complaint is that I wish they were a bit longer (I got the regular length vs. the long/tall). On my Vstrom they ride above my ankle towards the top of my boot. Airflow isn't great, but they're not mesh (and I plan to ride in them all winter), so not a deal breaker. Overall, very happy w/ the pant.
Yes, I recommend this product.
