I bought this to wear when I don't wear a riding jacket. The back protector seems decent. One issue I have is with the plastic pins on the back armor. They are easily popped out. Luckily this happened in my garage and I was able to push them back in. On a hot day, your back will be drenched with sweat. I get a few weird looks with it, but I really don't care. I've worn it about a dozen times last summer anywhere from temps 80-105. The fit seems true to size, I bought the 2XL-3XL I have a 48 inch chest size.

Normally I wear a 11 EEEE, I have a real problem with finding boots. I first ordered a size 45, because I was told they were a bit big. Not for my fat feet!! I returned them and ordered a size 46, and they are okay. These boots are still tight on my wide foot, but not terribly uncomfortable. They seem to be HOT! There really isn't much breathe ability in these boots. I rode in some rain today, and my feet stayed dry. I like these boots, but I think I will be ordering some better vented boots soon.

The dark smoke is great on my Bell Air Raid helmet. It looks good and is extremly dark. I normally wear sunglasses all the time (I am very light sensitive) and I do not need them with the helmet. I rode home today just after dusk, and it was really dark under the shield, but not the end of the world.

The break in time on this helmet felt like about 2 hours. My head is between round to narrow, normally I wear a Large, and in this helmet I wear a Medium. It fits perfect! I received this helmet this week and got to test it our today in 40 degree weather. The first thing that I noticed is the helmet looks larger that what I am used to. However, it doesn't feel heavy. I had a lot of wind coming up thru the bottom of the helmet. It is in definate need of a chin cover in cold weather. That would be the one thing that Bell could add to help with this helmet. There was a fair amount of noise from the wind, but I ride in earplugs, and plan to add a SENA Bluetooth, so that shouldn't be an issue. Vision is great and I added the dark smoke shield to the the Air Raid and it looks great. The dark smoke is not the best for night riding though. Thanks RevZilla for a great value priced helmet.
