Gerbing 12V 128FP FlexPack Battery To power the new line of Gerbing jacket liners, Gerbing has developed a new, thin, FlexPack battery, designed to slip into the back pocket of the jackets. The Gerbing Flex Pack Battery is flexible and can shape itself to the gentle curve of your back. Its individual cells are wrapped in an abrasion-resistant Kevlar layer, and the long battery lead makes connecting easy. Plus the FlexPack Battery features a wireless remote control with 3 heat levels and the capability to recharge while riding or from an AC wall plug. Integrates seamlessly with the Gerbing 12V Heated Jacket Liner . The 128FP Battery Kit comes complete with FlexPack Battery, wall charger, one remote control, and Gerbing's Intelligent Power Management Control (IPMC). The IPMC works only with the 128FP battery and serves multiple functions. It receives and processes the control signals from the remote controller It directs power from the battery to the jacket when you're not connected to a bike And it directs bike power to the jacket when connected to the bike, and simultaneously directs power back to the 128FP battery to recharge it as you ride Note Flex Pack Battery is intended for use with a jacket liner only with a total power output of 10 amps. WARNING It is important that you charge your battery regularly and that you maintain at least 25 of your battery power when not in use or left idle. Batteries must only be used with products with an amp rating less than the maximum capacity output rating for the battery. In the case of Gerbing's 128MV and 128FP batteries, that would be a maximum discharge rate of 8amps. Lithium-polymer battery packs can be recharged at state of discharge, without memory effect.

I bought this battery pack for my daily commute on an xr650L which does not have the power to handle the Gerbing 12v troller for my gloves. It works perfectly for my commute (2 hours a day) for powering my Gerbing 12v gloves at full power. The remote key fob is a nice feature, but I still opt to use the analog heat troller with a dial since it's smaller and can fit in a jacket pocket.
Battery is about the same size as a large note pad, fits easily in a backpack with just enough of a lead to stick out of a zipper to connect to your jacket or whatever you are wanting to power. My only gripe is I wish the lead was half a foot longer, but I realize a lot of people will buy this as the insert for their jackets and won't need an extra long cord.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've had these Sidi's now for about 7 months and they holding up great compared to my previous A* octanes. They are worn daily for commuting and can be left on all day without too much discomfort. A few things to add to what the other reviewers said: These are Sidi's and they WILL squeak, I've never seen a sidi that doesn't eventually develop a squeaking problem. An easy way to remedy this is to keep the spots where leather and plastic rub against each other lightly lubricated with either some Teflon wax or graphite grease.
Other than that, these boots are fantastic if not a tad pricey. But you get what you pay for in protection and comfort. These are the easiest shoes to slip in and out of if you do change them when you get to your destination, and I've crashed in Sidi's before on and off the track, they are bulletproof and you can replace the bits that get scuffed up.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was going to go with one of the cheaper CE foam inserts that A* has in their catalog, but this one is amazing.
The airflow alone is worth it for this particular back protector, as the middle honeycomb structure makes a pocket that will allow for air to flow over your back and suck away the summer heat. This particular back protector has even more airflow than my T-Pro forcefield which is quite impressive for being $20 cheaper than the insert they sell for A* jackets.
I have a tech-1r jacket and this is definitely the best accessory you can buy for it.
