TUrider's Reviews

Icon Women's Sacred Tall Boots Some ladies prefer their boots on the taller side. Mid-calf height, providing extra leather coverage while keeping jaws dropping. If your game is moto mixed with sexy than look no further than the Sacred Talls. A flat sole provides sure-footedness while integrated alloy heel plates and shifter nubs provide requisite motorcycle functionality. Of course the leather covered shinplate is sure to evoke a gladiatorial sexiness that seems most appropriate when found on the ladies (sorry Maximus). Tall 12 top grain leather upper Low profile Icon outsole Axialmetric steel shank Padded shin panel Custom molded metal heel plate Molded rubber shifter nubs YKK autolock zippers

I was initially drawn to the boot based on style, and price. They look great and I have received a number of compliments on them. They seem as safe and secure as one could want, although I haven't been (and don't hope to be) in an accident with them on so I can't attest to that 100%. I will warn that these run SMALL. I wear a 7, maybe a 7.5 in all ranges of shoes and boot. I had to exchange these and now have an 8, and even at that, the ankle is tight. I am an average girl, wear a 4/6 size pant, my ankles are small, and these boots are hugging my ankles so much so that with skinny jeans under and tight socks I can barely zip them. That being said, you want them to be snug so I kept the 8. The boots were kind of uncomfortable at first, but now after 7+ rides they have broken in and I can now walk in them with no winces. I can't speak on the water resistant aspect, haven't worn them in the rain. There is obviously no ventilation on the boot but they aren't all that hot. Rode in 90 degree weather and had no issues. They are very high quality leather. One whiff and there is no denying these are real hide! So if you are looking for a stylish, well priced, durable, protective boot I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Sacred boot, just watch the sizing!
Enjoy & safe riding!
Yes, I recommend this product.

In the photos the black appears light, almost a grey/black. Is this true or are the pants a true, rich black?

Ankle protection?

Do these boots have any sort of ankle protection or support? The description doesn't mention anything about it. Thanks!
Manybears - I don't know if under the leather, there is any time of extra support, but from a user perspective there seems to be very good ankle support. The leather is tough & rigid and really holds you in well. They are also pretty tight, so that helps! Hope that helps! Please see my full review if you would like!

Do these ICON boots run true to size?

Chelimon - for me, these boots run very small, I went up a full size and even that is tight. See my full review if you would like :)
